Not even much room for fans at these gyms, looks like. Do they run the European pro leagues off TV and sponorship money? Wicked wind-up.

I miss her -- even as a Gophers fan. She was a thrill to watch.

Eczacibasi, the team Stacey Gordon plays for, is a corporately owned and funded team. There are some teams like this, the rest run on sponsorship money for the most part...

I see Stacey is still defying gravity.
Interesting to see players with their first name rather than the last names on the back of their jerseys.
Is Nivea a sponsor or is that the team's corporate owner?
Why is Stacey wearing a different color jersey in the 2nd picture - or is her teammate in that picture their libero?

Where are the fans? They must pay good but takes away when you got used to playing in packed gyms like in Puerto Rico. I guess money talks! ESTRELLA

Not that great. Go with Kiehl's for the face. Though I do use Nivea as a body moisturizer. I see Stacey is still defying gravity. Is Nivea a sponsor or is that the team's corporate owner? Why, do you use Nivea men's products? I heard they are good especially if you want to look younger! ;D

Stacey is certainly a thrill to watch in person and not just her attacking. Eczacibasi plays with as if with two liberi with the kind of defense she plays.... Names are required on jerseys in our league. It is up to the club whether to put first or last names. However, in Turkish culture, the first name is more widely used for celebrities than their last names, thus it is very normal to use first names on jerseys etc.. Eczacibasi Holding is the corporate owner... Nivea is one of the brands they represent in Turkey, thus the display in gym etc... And yes, the teammate in the 2nd photo is the libero... Two different matches...

ESTRELLA The fans are there and some are bused-in, but if you really want to watch Eczaci play, you pretty much have to drive or cab it to the gym because it is in the middle of nowhere. I should know, I've been there. That said, Eczaci has a really nice facility with the latest sport court flooring and all and the cafeteria serves really awesome food!

That looks like the Taraflex that's used in the Olympics and FiVB indoor events.

This is one of the nicest gyms in Istanbul - maybe all of Turkey - in terms of what it offers to the athletes. It really is too bad though that it is practically in the middle of nowhere

It really is too bad though that it is practically in the middle of nowhere I've never played on Taraflex or even seen any in person. I think Hawaii uses one in the international colors. City Beach Fremont (never been inside) has Taraflex flooring that look like wood:
