I forgot to mention...
I was a little surprised that the camera crew didn't show the UH women's team vs. the UCLA team in the stands... in fact, I didn't even see the UH gals in the stands... did the UCLA staff hide them?

I've followed Kimo's career at UH. He can hold his head high, that's for sure. He was instrumental in a National Championship run. Those rings are hard to come by!
Congrats to Kimo, and we'll see what he does in the future.

They say you can play...you kinda figure they know the rules---so you play. Then everybody blames the players when it all blows up. (For example...we all have been reading about BYU. When BYU gets busted for real...IMO throw out the head coach. Ban him for life.)

Also, they can change the record books but no one can take away the experience guys like Kimo, Nordberg, and Ching had in winning that thing. It wasn't their fault, and I don't think that anyone is taking away their rings anytime soon or ever for that matter.

In response to IB,
Yes, the phrase I should have used instead was that Brian has more potential. And I have no doubt he will do well as time goes on.
I would hope that Delano moves back to middle blocker because UH needs someone who can pass. In fact, I would be surprised if he doesn't move back to the middle next season.
I also think that Kimo may take a shot at the AVP. He did show interest in beach volleyball previously. I think he could do well there. Which reminds me of Jason Ring. I'm glad Jason is doing well. Or Kimo could also try the European leagues. Whatever he, Ryan, Jake, Josh, and Arri choose to do, I wish them continued success.
I also wondered why we did not see Dave Shoji or his team. I think it's funny how according to Scott Robbs the venue staff said it was an NCAA rule for UCLA students to sit behind the service line.
I concur, Charlie. Couldn't have said it better myself.
And I don't think the coaches or student athletes are totally to blame for the controversy with foreign players, eligibility, and titles. I do, however, feel that the NCAA needs to get its act together and clearly state the rules on eligibility.
