I know the Bowman sisters, Sheila Shaw and Meghan Cumpston are playing for Team Minnesota. I believe Steph Hagen is, too, but I forget her married name.

Hmmm....must either be the kid sister or frat boy boyfriend of one of the UCLA players. Only two categories I can think of with the rare combination of faux angst and bad grammar. I see we are taking the superior than thou position. I am fully aware of the eligibility of Morrison and others. Since you did not get the jest of it, I was saying that U Dub with Morrison and company, was 1 and 1 with Westwood last season, when both teams were fully loaded. Your post sounded to me like the results would have been totally different if they were there. I just happen to disagree. Furthermore just because you are there you've drawn conclusion on the outcome of a game that was yet to happen. How did you ever get to be so intuitive and smart? If you know volleyball as well as you seem to project, I think it is a little early for either one of us to be predicting a victory for either team.? I am sorry for acting a little cranky, but it is just so early on not to mention this is a Spring tournament, where the coaches should be trying a lot of different players and rotations.... The English professor image that you are trying to get across, do you really think anybody cares about your ability to pick-off a run on sentence? Your arrogance about how well you can correct someones grammar only shows how judgmental of a person you are... HMMMMM, Does it make you feel good to show off your strengths? Talk about needing to get a life, stick with the Volleyball predictions, at list you have a 50, 50 chance of saying something worth listening to...

Do you realize that 38 hasn't made any predictions in this thread? He did comment on your grammar though. What will be your reason for acting cranky in your new post?

The 4 teams remaining in the Women's Open all play 11:20 am (not sure what time zone.)
The Dub vs. Team Minnesota (loser eliminated from tournament)
USA Red vs Westwood VBC (loser play winner of the other match)

Do you realize that 38 hasn't made any predictions in this thread? He did comment on your grammar though. What will be your reason for acting cranky in your new post? Excuse my ignorance, but I do not know who you are refering to when you speak of 38. My previous comment was on the post , by Tex-VB-FA that USA Red would beat UCLA tomorrow, then you -all started the game of picking on the person who questioned the person whom made the prediction. All of which is literally getting pretty silly. However just prior to your pointing out another fault of mine, I was going to say that I heard the Gophers were playing very well, from a pretty good source, I think , if I understood the person correctly, they seemed to think that Minnesota played better than Washington. Apples and Oranges though, since it is so early in the season and a team playing two days later is going to not be as sharp as a team that played earlier in the tournament... However I do not think that by my defending myself from the snipping of the English Grammar Team, warrants a cranky question again. Anyway I would be happy just to hear the straight scoop. So lets call a truce. Please? Thank-you, Michelle

You quoted 38Skynyrd above, hence 38. I never picked on you, I teased you about your crankyness comment in your previous post. Thanks for the info / comment on Minnesota, though IMO a comparison between The Dub and Team Minnesota is very apples / oranges if anyone is trying to use the results as a way to guage how each team might do in the upcoming collegiate season. The Dub has players from their current team, while Team Minnesota is made up mostly of former Gophers, at least one native Minnesotan (but did play for the Gophers) and a former Badger. It ought to be an interesting match though.

Who else was on the Smack Trim team with Stacey Gordon?
I'm surprised they went 1-6 in the tournament.

Have a new cell phone sized Olympus camera that I got for family events. Being the curious type that I am, I took some test video at the gym. It's pretty hard to watch, but you die-hard Westwood fans might like to see it. But first, here's my favorite footage of the day: Okay, now the UCLA stuff: Romeo, That was a great fined, thanks for getting it out to us... Nice to be able to see something from Austin. You would think that it would have been better covered.
