Interesting that they didn't see a need to list her at 5'11" like many in the NCAA tried to. Maybe she's established herself as a good enough player now that it's okay to be short!
June 7, 2007 PRESS RELEASE, NEW SIGNING: STACEY GORDON
Our club has reached an agreement with Canadian International player STACEY GORDON.
She was born January 25, 1982. She is a 1.81 meter (5'11" - corrected height) tall outside hitter who has played the last two seasons in the Turkish League with club Eczacibasi Istanbul, who were the league champions this past season.
In 2004 she was the NCAA POY and is the best player in the Canadian National Team system.
In the Turkish League Final, she contributed 25 points to her team's victory.
Her main strengths are her excellent passing and defense, as well as her speed in attacking.
Tenerife is very pleased to sign this excellent player and we hope to confirm her new contract in the next few days.

sIsam is correct as usual. The conversion factor in my mental estimate was off.
Which is something my doctor has been saying for years.
