Penn State wins game two 30-21 as the Nittany Lions hit .522 in the stanza. Matt Proper nine kills, while Kowal, Meerstein and Wentzel each have seven kills. Patriots led by Campos' six kills.

Nittany Lions hit .529 for the match as Proper and Meerstein each have team-high 11 kills. Meerstein hits .917, while Proper hits .667. Kowal played sparingly in the third and finished the match with seven kills and five blocks. Meerstein has team-high six blocks as the Nittany Lions hold a 12-5 team block advantage.
George Mason hits .071 for the match. Felix Campos leads Patriots with nine kills, but hits negative .061. GMU has only 13 digs as a team to PSU's 23.

What was with Mason this year?? Such high hopes in the beginning of the year....and now probably glad it is finally over.
Does Rutgers have the middles to stop PSUs run to the ff?

Seems to me missing Shaun Powell might have something to do with it. I repeat, does anyone know what his injury was that kept him from playing this year or was it something else?

just got back from the game...it was a good match.. penn state was on top of things today..with the exception of some minor things..but good job to penn state! should be a good match saturday...wish i could go!
