Somehow I don't see Stanford boosters eating greasy burgers, brats or hot dogs. Garden Burgers,Mahi Mahi, grilled shrimp and Cobey's kick ass poke washed down by imported beer ,white wine and catered by Wolfgang Puck. You've probably never eaten at the Oasis. I had an Oasis Burger (burger with Canadian bacon - and no longer on the menu?) and damned near had a heart attack on the spot. theoasisbeergarden.com

Someone stated that the 3rd set was won by the first team 30-20. Who were the players on the first team for that match? Thanks!

Betcha Cassidy would make a great setter for the 2008 Cardinal. Who's this Betcha Cassidy, and why would she make a great setter? If she's the setter in 2008, would Dunning get a walk-on setter to run a 6-2? Then he'd have Betcha Cassidy and some damn kid. Ouch.

What it's time for is Stanford to develop a fan base. 50 people? I don't know why HVB fans can't count! Where StuffU was sitting there was about 6 rows at 5 people per row so that is already 25, er 30! And there about 6 to 7 sections one side that was plenty full plus there was the other side. But why did you cut your hair, StuffU?

Betcha Cassidy would make a great setter for the 2008 Cardinal. I know, the Gophers missed out on her!

You aren't Denise. I know Denise and, frankly, you are no Denise.

Didn't mean to imply that I was--simply copied and pasted an email she sent yesterday.

To think that publius is Denise Corlett is frightening. I always pegged publius as the dad of a particular ex-Santa Clara player.
Thanks, Jon Wallace

My post on the Bootleg:
Sharp and crisp, at least to me. I just caught the 3rd game but lots of big hits by Klineman, Waller and Barboza and Litchman. The biggest was by Flouke though. A number of blocks for kills by Browne. Browne is very impressive in the middle, Everyone except Janet O is healthy and they were all playing full bore. Janet will be back soon. Our frosh look really good. We are so deep, anyone could play at any time.
