Your point? I could have picked you instead, but you post too often. I what??You post too much to make Stalking you worthwhile -you're frequently here where you can be taunted teased or generally communicated with on a whim. Gwanji doesn't post very often so one must tackle the more difficult task of clicking on his name then scrolling down (as needed) to see the list of his most recent posts.

So far this season, I have seen all of Nebraska's matches live. In my opinion, on the day that we played each opponent, Duke was one of the two best teams that NU has faced. They run a fast system with lots of middle attacks - fun to watch.
Question - Has Duke changed coaches since Nana Meriwether (sp?) played there as a freshman?

Duke's double behind the setter options gave Nebraska some problems. Hats off to the Blue Devils for stressing the Huskers a bit. Huskers were a little off tonight. That's ok. Room for growth is good! Schwartz really struggled!

Quote from Cook after the match. Quote from Coach Cook after the match.
"I thought Duke is a really nice team," Cook said. "They pass really well. That setter and those middles do a great job. I’m impressed with them."
Behind 15 kills from Carrie DeMange, Duke hit .228 in the losing effort, the highest by a Nebraska opponent this season. DeMabge hit .440, 15 kills on 25 attempts, 4 errors. The other Duke middle, Norman hit .333, but only had 18 swings. Duke is very solid. Another observation, USC isn't close to being in Nebraska's class right now.

I think the entire audience was impressed with them. They do deserve their ranking but do have weaknesses. If they had more firepower like their middles and one outside, they could be more of a serious contender but even with what they have, they are good. I don't recall what he said about New Mexico State but I was certainly impressed with the connection their setter had with her two middles too. I haven't seen the stats to that match but those two had to have a pretty darn good night. They consistently outquicked Louisville and ran their middles in several places across the net. I was hoping they would win just to see if the Huskers could stop their middle attack. I should add that Louisville's middle blocker was also fairly slow and didn't get very good penetration on the block but it should be a fun match for both teams. Louisville had one pretty good hitter who was 6-6. She played all around and wasn't a bad back row player. I'm sure her stats were also very good because she could get kills from both sides of the 10-foot line.

I had a long day and night. My bad But at least it gave me a chance to talk about the other teams in the tournament. Frankly, compared to the other tournament teams the Huskers have been playing so far this season, I wasn't super impressed with the competition this week but they turned out to be much better than I thought.
