The game is about to start. I don't intend to post stats. See Gametracker for that one. Maybe just some notable situtations. Anybody else, jump in.
NU ends their warm ups with the "Machine Gun Drill", where each NU OH/OPP/MB gets a sweet set near the net and just crushes it inside the 10-ft line. When I played VB, that kind of "warm up" was always intimidating to the opponent. We'll see how it affects NMSU.

I'll jump in...cuz... I'm not expecting miracles tonight. I'm hoping that the Aggies are competitive with the Huskers...and keep their heads.

NMSU middles are awesome. It should be fun seeing them go against "the best", i.e., Stalls and Cooper.

On the NU side, Tara Mueller has the Libero jersey on. Rachel Schwarz is DS in this game.
Intros still going on.
NU also has on their "away jerseys", i.e., RED. Must be for fun. Or maybe they didn't have time to do their laundry?

I miss Elmer. Watching her crush an overpass was a thing of beauty. CH and Stalls get the points, but something about Melissa made it look so much more demoralizing for the other team.

Wow! Holloway actually blocked one!
Stalls crushes one. 16-6 NU.
Pavan crushes one 17-7 on an overpass. Ouch.

From what I'm hearing on the radio - that's one amazing place to play in. They said about 4,000 folks there but it sounds like there are a ton more.
