Anyone know if that's ever happened before -- a freshman winning conference player of the week two of her first three weeks in competition?

Well, technically, two of her first four weeks. Aug 24th, Minnesota played at Notre Dame.

Nice weekend for Deiter, However Harmotto hit .607 for the weekend including over .400 vs Stanford. Hard to overlook, but they did.

Harmotto didn't have a ton of kills against Stanford, though. If PSU could have gotten their setting/ball control issues under control and gotten her the ball more, they probably would have won the match. No disrespect to Fawcett and Hodge, but I think Harmotto is the hardest Lion to stop.

Sprockets, we call her. OK, I call her. Spacely Sprockets? Or Cogswell Cogs, the evil competitor of Spacely Sprockets?
