Is Fullerton a decent team or is Pacific still rebuilding because I remember when the Wahine was in the Big West Fullerton was always at the bottom of the conference.

Fullerton is a little better than they have been in the past, I think, but Pacific is just in Charlie's second year of coaching. We have 7 wins this year and last year we only had a total of 8 wins. I think it's safe to say we're still rebuilding.

CSF is a decent and improved team. People have expectations that teams(such as Pacific) that they use to constantly beat up teams that would end up contantly at the bottom of the conference will always find it unbelievable that they're losing to CSF, UCI and CSUN too( ;D). These schools(mostly UCI and CSUN) have been beating Pacific for quite some time since '02. CSF is much better than in years past and they're a decent team. Is Fullerton a decent team or is Pacific still rebuilding because I remember when the Wahine was in the Big West Fullerton was always at the bottom of the conference.

CSF has 1 or 2 players from the Rancho Valley VB club and added 3 players this year from the Mizuno Club Long Beach's JO silver medal U-18 team that had Klineman, Garrett, etc. These are two clubs known for excellent training and these players are contributing right away. Even Pacific has a former Rancho Valley player and a former Club Long Beach player. Although improved, CSF is still a young team though and will probably experience some ups and downs throughout the rest of the season. They probably won't be psyched out by games at the Pyramid.
A player's parent who went to the Pacific / CSF game said UOP's OH's were solid but that the team was uneven defensively and that they really miss Kara Uhl's experience and stability on the floor. Apparently she is nursing an injury and played sparingly this past week. Pacific didn't exactly dominate at Davis this past week and may have been inconsistent against CSF, but some teams play different on the road. Until they can get Uhl back in the mix, it might be tough for them.
