To any gopher out there - any advice on the best way to get to the Sports Pavilion coming up I-35 from Iowa? Has the bridge collapse earlier this year had any impact on getting to the campus?

Yes, the bridge collapse will have an affect as the campus is on the other side of the river. You will want to get off the exit before the river and and the 10th Ave bridge across to University Ave.
Shouldn't be that bad.

Actually, it's easiest to just take the 3d street exit (still open), cross the Washington Av bridge over the river and park in a ramp there. Oh, and should this be a different thread?

Gotta agree w/ Spiker. Tkae the 3rd St exit to the East Bank campus, and run down Washington Ave. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, park in the ramp next to the Radisson (Harvard St SE)If you want a shorter walk, take Washington down to Oak St, turn left and take it two blocks, and turn left again on whatever-it-is... it'll turn into 4th St SE as it goes between Mariucci Arena and Williams/Sports-Pavilion. Turn left (you're spiralling in) on 19th Ave SE and pull into the surface lot.
If, for some reason, Parking and Security have decided to leave the lot contract-only, go up to University, take another left turn, and go into the University Ave ramp that's right across from Williams/Sports-Pavilion.

But also remember, just in case you're reading the schedule wrong, the match is at Iowa City this Wednesday.

Bluto, much better to listen to Spiker and JT. They come up from the southside and know the best way to get to the Pav.

True... but if Bluto wants, he could come up to Mpls, and catch the match live on tv at Sally's (Washington Ave across from the Radisson). He might have to cheer for the Gophers, though... or risk being pelted with the free snacks. ;D

The free snacks are something to consider, though. Thanks for the travel advice!

Except the Gophers have Right on their side. There is nothing good about a Gopher, except if one is stuffed and deodorized..... or on a Badger's menu.....

Except the Gophers have Right on their side. If Hagerty can continue to play like she did on Saturday the Gophers, indeed, have a right side!
