Now that Betsy Hone has finally nailed down the starting roll at Ohio State look for her for big numbers.

Paige Weber, freshman setter for AZ. Many great freshman in the country and the Pac 10. None, I repeat none, more important to her team. Look at the stats ... what you cannot see is the court sense, fire and leadership. The weekend that the AZ middles had last weekend would not have been possible the last five years.

Northeastern has two great ones in Britney Brown and Caitlin Tittl. Brown is a setter who can hit and block, incredible combination. Tittl is an awesome blocker who is averaging two kills a game despite not many sets--hitting about .250. Future looks bright for the Huskies.

Dieter has really come out strong. Great to see. Gibby is playing a good steady brand of volleyball. Contributing in every match. I think she will simply continue to improve with every match and will finish the season on a strong note. The next 3 years will be a lot of fun watching this team, especially with the addition of Love when the Fab Frosh are Juniors. Should be serious contenders for National 1, 2 or 3.

Are you saying you think that all Minnesota U needs is love? I think there's nothing they can say, but they can learn how to play the game. It's easy.

I would have to say that Paige webber and Carli lloyd of the Pac 10 should be included in the debate. Wow, next year the pac 10 should be better that ever.

To me, that's a pretty good indication that they've got a lot of work ahead.
