This one stole my thunder....only problem is the choices are way too limited.....let's speculate about the next award Sarah Pavan wins or how awesome Hawaii fans are..... ;D and before you barbecue me...I'm just having fun.

I'd like the bourgeoisie populace of this forum to ONLY discuss the many ways they love me. Special exceptions will be made to aristocrats and proletariats who want to chip in and contribute to this fruitful discussion. And if you are a proletariat, could you first explain how you got access to the Internet before listing all the ways you love me?
Thanks.

I have another suggestion. Let's all read a pre-assigned book and then a week later, let's all meet here and discuss said book. Let's start off with a short story: "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien.
See you in a week.

Interestingly, I pondered a fourth choice for the survey: "Listen to Wolfie pontificate shamelessly". I decided instead to spare him the embarrassment.

Obviously: sex, drugs and rock 'n roll!
Or in my case, vaguely remembering sex I once had; no drugs, just too many brewskis at times; and Bruce Springsteen at the Forum in LA in the 80s.
Oh sorry, that stuff belongs in the "Off the net" forum.

Funny poll.
So far, the "Programs you don't like" thread is outpacing the "Programs you respect" thread, 5 pages to 3 pages.
Reminds me of PBS. People are asked whether they watch PBS and over 70% say they watch it more than any other channel. Yet, ratings numbers don't show this and PBS continues to hang by a thread year after year.
And overwhelming number of people have also responded in polls that they hate sex and violence and tabloid news. And yet, the newspapers and magazines and movies that consistently sell well are the ones with sex, violence, and tabloid content.
People are funny.

For me, PBS = Pretty Boring Stuff
Actually, 'R' rated moves are generally money losers. But, who ever accussed Hollywierd of living in the real(not reel) world?
...and when are they going to do a sports movie about volleyball?

What would you rather talk/read about?
If Dirt was a choice it would win by a landslide.

The reason R rated movies generally produce lees revenue is that they mostly miss the biggest movie-going demographic: teen and pre-teen kids.
