yeah i agree it is kind of a free for all....i think each team will come away with at least two losses (including Stanford). It's going to be intersting to see how it all shakes up and how the seedings go for the tourney... Judging by the preseason and current regular season, 7 pac-10 teams deserve the tourney with decent seeds. 2 Pac-10 teams should take a #1 seed and two should take a #2 seed. The 5th team in the Pac-10 should get #3 seed. The 6th team in the Pac-10 should a #4 seed and the 7th team in the Pac-10 should get a #5 seed... if it's anything worse than that the NCAA committee should be shot
This is way too premature. Speculate when the regular season is over....the cart goes behind
the horse.
which part is to premature?... I admit that saying that each team will get two losses is really premature because Stanford really could go undefeated....but if you are referring to the seeding, I doubt it will be much different than what I posted. The only part I can see a good chance of not happening would be 7 teams getting in. But as far as seeding goes that probably is probably how it will end up. The preseason results and rankings of the Pac-10 have pretty much guaranteed the top half of the Pac-10 high seeds....it's just a matter of which team gets those seeds. for example if we were to go on results right now the pecking order would most likely Stanford, UCLA (road win against Cal), USC, Washington, Cal, Oregon....but if those top teams beat up each other, all they really do is take one anothers seeds...the seeds don't change, just the teams that occupy them. I mean which other teams will get those 1's and 2 seeds? Nebraska, Penn State, Florida, and Texas of course...but outside of those four, which teams would you put in place of the top 4 Pac-10 teams? Especially if within those four you have a team(s) that have a win against stanford who have a win against Penn State who have two wins against Texas....
lol that's a lot of crap being spilled from my mouth... I'm tired. Good job Pac-10...the road only gets tougher. Can't wait for them all to come to UW
