Ong & Blood Fan, thanks for sharing that interview. What strikes me most is how romantic she can be. The first example was that mysterious red-shirt year actually was done out of love for her boyfriend. She risked a lot then. Today, she seems madly in love with her husband. I'm just glad she's happy and playing volleyball. It seems that she's just passionate for life period. I saw a lot of that during her days at UH. As I said before, Lily was one of the most expressive and intense players for UH.
I just wish that there was a way to watch one of her professional volleyball games. Great interview O&B Fan. I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses from this post. Aloha.

Looks like a lot of people were interested in what Lily's been up to. I went to that link and it says the data limit was exceeded. ;D

Thanks for reading. I'm just glad she agreed to that interview. I was actually very surprised that she didn't mind talking about the redshirt year. I thought she would be offended. From the few times I've communicated with her, I could tell that Lily is very straightforward and speaks her mind. Plus, she is confident in what she can do.

Judging from the interview, perhaps living in Europe and playing in Korea didn't work out. And remember, don't screw with Lily, she bits. ;D

One of Lily's shining moments would have to be the UH vs Nebraska game in the regional finals. She was on fire and couldn't be stopped in Games 3 and 4. Despite the high, rainbow sets that allowed blockers ample time to camp on the outsides, Lily managed time and time again to push the ball through, using a variety of shots. She was definitely MVP of that game.

What about the 2003 Stanford match when Kim was pulled out? Lily sparked a comeback.

It's a free hosting site, so I guess I can't expect much.
