nice to see the huskies play well again in front of a big. and I am sure a hostile crowd at Bohler Gym. 1690 in that place is a real challenge and the huskies look like they were a machine tonight

I'm liking what I see in the box score. The Huskies had a fairly balanced attack and good defense (53 digs)...it just must be dig night in the Pac-10 eh?...the only sour note I see is Mussies hitting errors (10!)... Perry, although didnt' get many swings, converted very nicely. If Mussie would have cut down those errors by like half the huskies would have hit close to .400. I'm liking what I see.... progress... if we can post good-great numbers against the Arizona schools, I feel confident that in two weeks UW can walk away with at least 1 win when they visit the bay area

no doubt.. Oregon's sweep over them at their place is a two edge sword. I feel more confident,,,, but should I? I do think that the huskies will play well in front of their home crowd for the first time this year..... when school is in and the dawg pack is loud and obnoxious
An added bonus is they should be well rested. One match this weekend and an easy on at that. Almost like a bye week
Also Arizona plays us second after Wazzu.. It is starting to snow in the mountains and if Arizona takes a bus to Wazu and then buses back the next day,, It will feel like the went to North Dakota and played in a high school gym somewhere. That has got to be an advantage for us . lol

Even though Oregon swept Arizona, the games were VERY CLOSE, and could've easily gone the other way. Oregon taking UW to 5 should warn the Huskies to be VERY, VERY, careful with Arizona, who took both UCLA and USC to 5.

Careful. Don't overlook Arizona. Oh no not at all... I want them to prepare the best they can for those schools. Knowing how to beat them and executing it will say great things about where UW is right now. It will mean that they are dedicated to each team and focused on a winning strategy. Then they can use that focus into the toughest 2 weeks of the season stanford/Cal, Vs USC UCLA

what I like best is the 55 total assist we had in a 3 set match. 46 of them from the setter. that tells me we are in system for the most part, and the 8 assist for tama tells me further that they are in system and jenna is getting the ball to the middle of the court when she takes the first dig.
this is good.

Noticed in box scores(WSU) Christal Morrison was IYC (issued yellow card) in game 2 up 23-11 for unsportsmanlike conduct. Anyone know what happened? Out of character for her.
