The Titans of CSF who is ahead of the Matadors(CSUN) in Big West conference standings will challenge each other tonight at Cal State Northridge. Years ago CSUN would almost always win their matches against CSF rather easily, but not lately ever since CSF's head coach CAROLYN ZIMMERMAN took over CSF is playing better each year. Both matches between these two teams last year were one of the best compared to other years where CSUN just dominated CSF. This I think it will be the same as last year where it will be another tight match.
No surprise here I'm gonna pick CSUN to win ..in four games. I do expect CSUN to carry over the way they played against UC Riverside(UCR) Saturday night into this match where they played solid in all three games. Freshman outside hitter BRITTANY WILLIAMS was tremendous in last week's matches where she was one of the go to person to terminate a rally and I look forward to see her doing that tonight. She's exciting to watch and this young lady from Chino Hills can jump.
Go Matadors!

Here is the score for the match that was almost or was two hours long. Great, great match to watch from two evenly matched teams.
26-30, 30-24, 34-36, 30-25 and 20-18...CSUN won in five games, their winning home streak aginst CSF is now 13 matches and they extend their lead over CSF 20-6.
Fun and stressful match between these two teams.
To the CSF fans...you guys are cool.
Good job Matadors...way to hang in there and come from behind in the fifth game when you were behind 10-13. HARMONY...proud of you that you served two service winners in the lat game making CSUN take the lead 19-18 and at game point to win the game at 20-18.
Proud of y'all!
