I really thought they were going to win in 3. Great job Boilers!
Wow. Kelli Miller had 40 digs at IU, and 36 digs vs MI,. The previous record at Purdue was 37.

This is a quality win for Purdue. After the loss at Bloomington, the Boilermakers really show some character in bouncing Michigan tonight. The Big Ten is so darn competitive this year. Best group of teams I have seen in Big Ten play in past several years.

Congrats to the Boilers - a very good win for their team.
Does that put them along in 3rd place now at 6-4?

Congrats to the Boilers - a very good win for their team. Does that put them along in 3rd place now at 6-4? I think so. It was a really good weekend for me. Purdue football beats Iowa in great fashion, so that is double good. #1 UNI football wins big, UNI volleyball wins huge, and Purdue volleyball gets a great win. There isn't much more I could ask for.

i hope that Purdue will at least get some votes on the poll Hard to say, coming on the heels of the loss at IU. I think they deserve SOME votes (at least as many as Miami (OH)!).

I am predicting now that they WILL get votes this week. Despite the loss to IU, they will get some votes.
The loss to IU will be page 2 information. The win over Michigan is Page 1. The voters will see it.

It is a nice bounce back win for Purdue, one they really needed to make a push going into the second half of Big Ten play. It looks like Michigan is back into the middle of the pack in the league, right where a lot of people said they would be, even after they won the tournament in Hawaii. It looks like their blocking is a big issue. Also, when Lynch gets going, she is a major force. That was a big difference from the IU match.

After we lost to arch-rival IU (anything can happen when Purdue plays IU) I was looking ahead to the 2nd round of the Big Ten to get back some wins and move up, so I am very happy we are at #3 at the half-way point.

Purdue very quietly in the upper half of the Big Ten. Go Boilers!

I see Gray played a little last night. Good to see her back in the lineup!
It's not quite clear how she was used - she played all 4 games, but got only a 1/4 of the total assists. My guess is she wasn't used in all the rotations.

Gray was in twice each game and played across the back row. Purdue had 10 kids playing all 4 games and they ran out of subs each game.

Same thing I have done every other week, I guess.
But I'm still predicting they get votes.
