UOP over the Titans 30-11, 30-25, 30-25 Nice to see that Pacific avenged their earlier loss to Fullerton. This is definitely an improved team.

it's at least a possibility at this point, last year there was no doubt that we wouldn't get an invite

This was a fun match to watch, if you were a UOP fan. Coach Wade came and spoke again at the hospitality gathering. He said the team would have to be ready to run down a lot of "well placed" shots and boy did they. The Fullerton coaches and players looked confused after the first few minutes and never recovered. Good times for Tiger fans!

actually, she would have graduated last year. She redshirted a year at Washington I think she had knee surgery that red shirt year ahhh, I know she was having shoulder "issues" before she left Pacific. I didn't know about her knee. I guess I figured she just red-shirted during her transition.

couple of things about pacific - they have a "state of the art gym" with 2 big screens, and multiple cameras yet whenever i try to watch them on CSTV they have "technical difficulties", however, if you try to videotape your daughter playing, one of the staff will come over and hassle you to make sure you aren't scouting for someone else. the referrees saturday rarely called doubles on pacific, we just had to finally start laughing when we saw one ball they set spinning sideways. they charge a buck for the teams rosters, everywhere else they are free. it was also fun to watch their mostly 80 and older crowd get into the cheerleaders grinding to justin timberlake's "sexyback". i also liked the cheerleaders and pep team running in a line on either side of the court at the end of every game when pacific got to 28 - their sportsmanship in trying to distract the visiting team had little class. one last thing, before Pacific's players and coaches got all confused when THEY LOST at Fullerton several Saturdays ago - the Pacific players illegally came to the Fullerton match Friday night to scout the game before they were escorted out. it is great to get out of Stockton and back home in the OC ...
