Gee biggie, your couple of things turned into more than a couple. Right there and then you lost half the readers. I doubt if the feed inside the gym on big screens has anything to do with feeds going out to online video. Heck this board has screamed plenty about gametracker freezing and there's no video feed involved. Not sure if the recent Bill Belichick taping capture is fresh on people's minds, but I'm sure the staff would be remiss if they didn't check your credentials upon trying to tape. We wouldn't want anybody to do anything illegal. And those darn referees. They can be irritating sometimes. I'll never figure them out. By the way, there are other Big West schools as well as schools in other conferences that charge a buck for programs with rosters to cover printing costs, so they are not free everywhere else. You gotta check your facts before you throw things out there. Take a full tour of the Big West
and you will find out it happens at other venues. Some do and some don't. And that elder crowd you are making fun of probably is mostly made of the large booster club that has supported Pacific forever in many ways. I'm told they are a big group and probably the largest booster club in the conference. I'm sure they are mostly only in their 60's and 70's. I guarantee the cheerleaders running to get in position so they can do their routine at breaktime happens whether the visiting or the home team is the first to 28. The whole idea is not to distract the other team. I'm sure its gonna happen no matter who is ahead at the time. You've beat this UOP players showing up on Friday night for the first two points of the Fullerton match thing into the ground. This was covered previously in a thread that eventually the VT moderators put a freeze on it because of the tone and allegations and negativity. This incident was publicly responded to by Pacific's coach in the paper afterwards with the following:
NCAA rules prohibit coaches from scouting outside of tournament play, but a Big West bylaw is meant to prohibit players from scouting as well. "That was my fault," Wade said. "The girls asked if they could go, and I said they could go. "I told our administration about it, and they were under the impression they could go, too. None of us realized it was a conference bylaw."
The consensus from the previous thread that covered this was that since Pacific's coach was relatively new to the conference, he got the benefit of the doubt. Heck it was stated also that the Fullerton AD that escorted the players out admitted that only recently did he become aware of the Big West rule on this issue.
Going outside of the Orange curtain is tough I've heard, but unfortunately bw, the board has detected your bitterness, bias and sour grapes for whatever reason in past rants, so you've made it hard for people to really pay attention to your posts.
