I am really impressed with the way Audra Jeffers and Katherine
Dykstra have improved from game to game at their new positions.
both will be very big players in how the badgers do the rest of the year and next year. By nest year Jeffers should be one of the top 3 middles in the big ten. Dykstra is still a bit inconsistent, and needs to snap her wrist a bit more, but she is becoming more and more versatile as time goes on. She had some monstorous kills out of the middle that hit the 10 foot line during the match against psu, and hit some nice angles from the right side. She should be one of the best in the big ten by the end of next year. And should be hitting along all points of the net. Too bad Simpson and Reineke don't have one more year left. The Badgers will miss their leadership next year. It will be interesting to see if Pete Waite starts Klingsporn or Gabrielsen at setter next year. Gabrielsen is such a superb player, I can't see how he will be able to keep her off of the floor. Perhaps Gabrielsen could become the starter at O2. Wack and Dupont both have their strong moments, but are at this point a liability against the likes of a PSU. I anticipate Elle Ohlander will be the starting M2 next year, it sounds like she is very solid offensively and will be a great blocker. always exciting to anticipate the years to come. Pete needs to sign a top notch class for 2009. With the instate talent in the years 2010 2011 he may not have to recruit much outside of the wisconsin borders. As always any other thougts appreciated.
