according to prepvolleyball.com, Kelsey Maloney a 6-3 MB fro virginia will join the badgers in 2008. According to JTAWA she was a top recruit until she was diagnosed with lyme's disease and missed her whole junior year. Welcome to Madison! Here's a kid we should all root for.
Maloney, a 6-3 senior MB from Westfield High (VA) and Virginia Elite, will walk on at Wisconsin. Per JTAWA "Maloney was in line to be a top recruit before Lyme Disease robbed her of most of her junior year. A great, great kid, I'm rooting for Kelsey to turn this opportunity into a starring role with the Badgers."
Good for you Kels!

This is also a good get for the Badgers as it may allow them to recruit more in the east and northeast.

I think she was at the Penn State game on Sunday, because I was told the tall girl speaking with Rod was a recruit from Virginia. Everybit of 6'3". What a game for her to see.......

I wonder if they had any other recrutis there for 2009 (or is it too early?) what an opportunity to see the Badgers in one of the best venues in the country. It was the ideal day to sell a recruit on wisconsin volleyball.

I hope Werth has Wisconsin at the top of her list. She sounds like a very good MB

She's an OH. badgerbill just cost WI the recruit. As I said in the other thread, Minnesota and Wisconsin lost out on Eppink. She was an MB.

It's too late. She's already text-messaged Pete. Maybe she does play MB in HS. It's not the position for her, however. Or maybe you're thinking of Eppink, the Indiana kid?

Yay for the Badgers. It sounds like this girl has some potential. I hope that she is feeling okay. Lyme disease can really screw you up, but if she is playing now, she must be on the mend.
