Tell you what. While you're waiting for that list, how about you give us some more "fat pigs" and "fat cows" you don't approve of?
There are now 900 soldiers (and counting) who are dead because this President led us into the wrong war. Don't talk to me about Congress. They shirked their duty. They are supposed to keep the Executive Branch in check. But that does not let Bush off the hook. This is his war. The blood is on his hands.
And I repeat: this has NOTHING to do with Ronstadt's stupid concert chatter. The reaction to her remarks was uncalled for.
As were your stupid remarks about her weight and Michael Moore's.
You all are selling Slurpee's on the Titantic. And not only that, you're telling us they are health drinks.

I never said they did. This is an internet message board, not a showroom at a Vegas Casino where people pay in excess of $150 to watch a fat cow past her prime sing her songs. You didn't pay anything to read my post. Paying to see or hear an opinion is irrelevant. They are still simply that - merely opinions.

I don't know where those boneheads were from 1966-74. Where were you? In Gulf War I I was in Italy. During the end of the Cold War I was in North Dakota. In both instances, serving my country. Where were you? I was probably walking around somewhere between elementary school and high school at the time. My older brother was in Vietnam. My father was in Africa, Sicily, and other parts of Europe during WW II.

You are so absolutely right - if it weren't for the war in Iraq NOBODY in the U.S. military would ever die. Ever. In peacetime. No U.S. soldiers die in peacetime, that's the rule. Should I go back and find data on how many U.S. servicemen died overseas in peacetime from 1993-2000? We'll need to blame Clinton for those. How about 1981-1988? We'd better file suit against the estate of Ronald Reagan for those. And 1976-1980? Carter better have alot of cash saved up from his peanut business, because we need to go file a civil suit against him for servicemembers killed on his watch.

Please also annotate them with the numbers of servicemen that died while fighting a war declared by those president's against a country that represented no imminent threat to the US.

>-(Gorf)-<[} link=board=news&thread=1090455976&start=17#1 date=1090546873] I was probably walking around somewhere between elementary school and high school at the time. My older brother was in Vietnam. My father was in Africa, Sicily, and other parts of Europe during WW II. I didn't ask about your brother, your father, your great-aunt, your cousin second-removed on your mother's side. I asked about YOU. You seem to want to plead the case of US servicemen and servicewomen without first finding out what their thoughts are.

I know a number of people serving in Iraq, and at least half of them have not been in support of the war since its inception.
I didn't ask for information on where you were either but you felt the need to give it to me.
I figured you were just being a friendly so I thought I would respond in kind.

I did it to show that, unlike yourself who has never been within farting distance of serving in the military, when it comes to speaking on the attitudes and values of those serving our country, I know what I'm talking about.

And I repeat: this has NOTHING to do with Ronstadt's stupid concert chatter. The reaction to her remarks was uncalled for. The cow felt a need to express her opinion on something that had nothing to do with her concert, and so the audience responded in kind by expressing theirs. I'd say that's about even. She still got paid for her gig, she obviously needed the money to go get herself another luxury suite after her wide ass got booted out of the complimentary one at Aladdin's. Oh...the poor victim Ronstandt...everybody feel sorry for her now. Get used to it. If Kerry wins this election, you're gonna be asked to feel sorry for (and reach into your pocket to help pay for) millions of "helpless victims" like Ronstandt the Cow. Wish I coulda been there. I'd have gladly joined the people throwing their drinks on stage and ripping up the concert posters outside.

Umfortunately, you're showing nothing like that at all. All you're doing is name calling and presenting yourself in an ill behaved manner. Something that I'm sure everyone in the military would love to see being shown by their veterans.

Actually, most people in the military (and veterans, too) use even stronger language than myself in expressing their opinions on people like Ronstandt the Cow and people who support her type of thinking.
