From UCLA's website:

SC played very well tonight, playing at the top of their game for sure. Their defense and hitting was superb. They came inspired and played with desire. UCLA showed great character in coming back from a 13 point deficit in game 3 to win it 36-34 and go up 2 games to 1, then taking that momentum into game 4. SC is a much improved team with a lot of young players. They'll be very tough next year. The post above only had half of the article. USC did play well in a losing effort. Iwas surprised at how small the crowd was. Usually 3-4 thousand show up.

Typical crowds at Pauley are under a thousand, with bigger crowds for the likes of BYU and Hawaii. This was one of the rowdiest crowds in the last 2 years. Also, wanted to correct my previous post, the Bruins overcame an 8 point deficit in game 3 (not 13).

I did not think the deficit was 13, but other years the USC-UCLA battle has drawn alot more spectators.

Next week UCLA comes to Provo and there is the potential for there to be over 4000 people there for Friday's game. With BYU losing last night and more than likely falling in the polls, there might be less of a crowd. Though with Pepperdine, Long Beach and CSUN losing, they might not fall far if they can bouce back with a win tonight. I can see them falling below Hawaii even though they beat UH at the SSC. Iny any occurrence a match up against the No. 1 team at home, especially when it is UCLA is bound to draw a large crowd.
I honestly don't think BYU has a chance against UCLA right now.
