How does everybody see IPFW doing against Lewis and Findlay (twice) next week?

Don't expect much. IPFW is a glorified club team. Sets are too high and slow, passes are terrible, and they can't hit. Undersized and undercoached.
On the plus side, they have a decent blocking middle and a good hitter. IPFW lives and dies by their serve. Serves were on the night I saw them play.

Right on "VB" IPFW is always undercoached. They have never tried to run anything but a high outside offense. From what a buddy of mine told me that played there, all they ever did at practices when he was there was play 3's. They live or die by a jump serve and usually one big hitter. And thats about it. No real coaching, offense, or ball control. I don't think Ball knows how to teach passing. His teams are always terrilbe at passing. He is as overrated as a coach as his son is as a player. I think Findlay will probably beat them.

Now I don't know whose lying, you or your buddy. But I think you really need to keep rumors to yourself and or lying friend. I too have friends that have played there and have said nothing less than good things about Ball. And these were guys from 1999-2000 teams. Don't say things that have no facts behind them.
And I don't know why you think his son is overrated, you can't base your answer on the two matches you see on tv every four years. Lloy's team is tearing up Greece and won the Champions League. If he is that bad, than how bad are the other setters in the world.
Get a clue

Mr. Pink is right. You might like not think Ball had a good Olympics but he has done some great things as a professional. Hey maybe Dueser will get another coaching job and bring in Ball as his setter.

IMHO ... I think Lewis could go either way depending on which team comes to play and who coach Arnie starts. Five true freshman or some of the other veteran players. I think IPFW will be playing for pride and could/will? take this one.
They will definitely take both of the games from Findlay. Nothing against Findlay, they have an up and coming program, but we have Matty Z.!

Im thinking both are gonna be close. It depends on who is setting for IPFW and if the Findlay freshmen step it up a lot! It should be fun to see how these two will turn out.

Mr. Pink is right. You might like not think Ball had a good Olympics but he has done some great things as a professional. Hey maybe Dueser will get another coaching job and bring in Ball as his setter. Please specify the great things Lloy (no "D") Ball has done professionally. And don't bother bringing up the Modena championship, I've already de-bunked that argument numerous times on this forum. And dominating the Greek pro league is akin to dominating Single-A baseball while playing for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
