Carthage continues to impress. Amazing that this is their first year!
It will be interesting to see how they do against a D1. (Quincy)
Strength seems to be setting and coaching.

Both setters are 6'6-7" and each of them had a good match this past week. Today, the setter had 35 assists, 5-6 blocks and 5-6 digs. good all around match. The middles are getting better. Outsides are a bit inconsistent but will improve with more experience.
The thing that is encouraging, especially for next year, is that they have just a couple of juniors. Most everyone is a freshman or sophmore. They should look pretty good at the end of the season and even better with anohter yar or two of experience and a year or two of recruiting by the coach.
They have beaten DIII Clarke and should beat the other MIVA DIII MSOE. I think they play UC-Santa Cruz near the end of the season at a tournament at Clarke. That should help determine who gets the at-large from the West/Midwest to the Molten Championships for DIII. MSOE
