I assume Scates gave Pepperdine that first place vote. I am a little surprised that Hawaii and BYU moved around, but they were only a few points apart last week, so it looks like those few votes made a difference.
Other than that, everything looks pretty good.

OK IPFW 13, you say some dumb stuff on here, but there is no way you can know who voted for who, unless your a voter. That is really sad if you are.

The poll looks pretty accurate other than one big thing. THERE IS NO WAY IN THE WORLD THAT OHIO STATE SHOULD BE #12! They lost in 3 games to an unranked team that has never once even received votes for the poll. The only reason they even have the wins they do, is because other than Penn State, which they lost, THEY HAVE PLAYED NOBODY. That is very wrong. Ohio State has done NOTHING to earn a spot of any kind on the poll.

Other than that, everything looks pretty good. I agree, Hawaii's only loss was a convincing one to BYU. Also odd that BYU would lose ground after splitting with #1 UCLA. I still think it will take another 2-3 weeks to get a better feel for where everyone is at. It happens a lot though where one team beats another and then ends up ranked lower a week or two later. Happened last year on the VolleyMag poll when BYU beat LBSU twice on the road and then was ranked behind them for most of the season. I guess that is why we still play the game.

I suprised that Pacific resides 1 spot behind Northridge when they just crushed Northridge 3-0 last week in Stockton... hmmmm... interesting
