Is it possible to save and carry over at least a week of threads into the new year?

I don't think they will disappear unless the Admin opts to delete them. It's already new year's here (my board time is set for the local time) and everything is intact...

Last year they put a lock or delete on all of them and the year started anew. I realize they must somehow edit our threads over all, I am just asking they keep the most recent posts active; namely the last week of Dec 2004.
