www.fivb.org/vis_web/volley/WOG2008/pdf/P5.pdfI am pretty sure this document is going to be superseded in two days but here are the stats so far. Best scorer: Haneeff-Park is #2 overall Scott-Arruda is in a four way tie for 9. Bown is #23 Tom is in a four way tie for #24. Scott-Arruda is tied for third for best spiker. Scott-Arruda is #6 as best blocker No Americans qualified as best server. Hmmm Ah-Mow Santos is #7 as best setter. Lo Bianco is #2, Fofao is #3, Feng is #4. Nicole Davis is #8 overall in digging. Logan Tom is #4 as best receiver. Interesting note, Santos, one of the Cuban setters is #10 as a receiver. Another interesting note, Davis didn't make it. Davis is #6 as best Libero, given there are 12 teams in the tournament, that means that she is average.

There's a 25% quota. Davis didn't make the cutoff. Tom's taken 40% of the passes. Davis, 20%. Glass at 17%. Willoughby at 16%. Normally, I would think teams would want the distribution to be closer to 25-30-45 to your OH1-OH2-Libero. Given the way USA has been passing, I won't be surprised if Tom (OH2) takes a lot more floor in their next matches.
