I thought Hugh did a great job dealing with the interview. He was forthright and honest.
I thought the gold medal question was uncalled for. Gold medals are great and this is what these guys worked for for four years, seven or eight or nine for some of them. Why should winning a gold medal now be more meaningful? i think Hugh was right on when he said that winning the gold does not bring his father in law back, so why should winning it be any more or less significant than it did before the tragedy?
