Yeah, yeah, yeah I know that this is all about volleyball(indoors and outdoors) and there are message boards for other sports, but I gotta pass on my congratulations to Jenn Stuczynski of Team USA for winning the silver medal. I cannot believe(I'm not the only one) that her coach was behaving unprofessional, immature and berating for her winning a a silver medal. What a jerk. She just won and RICH SUHR was having a fit and ruining her moment. Where was the head USA T&F coach to support her and denounce his actions? When other teams place second winning the silver such as the Team USA's women's water polo I don't recall their coach becoming uncorked. Was SUHR'S behavior appropriate? Just wondering.

Maybe if she shut the hell up with the trash talk about the Russians and focused on jumping he wouldn't have been so pissed.
As the old saying goes..." Put up or shut up." She can't seem to do either.

he was in no way berating her in any definition of the word. Certainly could have congratulated her, had better body language, hid his frustration disappointment etc... I will give you immature, and a little unprofessional but berate? c'mon.

Suhr is from Rochester......a very very controlling and borderline possessive coach up here. No doubt it was killing him that he couldn't be on the field......kinda looked like he like the TV coverage of himself......but he knows his stuff. He does and excellent job of producing pole vaulters and is very selective with who he takes on. Jen is relatively new to the sport .....transplant college Basketball player. Silver is fantastic....the Russian is at another level.

Everybody is comparing her to Bubka. Right now, everybody else is just going for silver.
