Rogers/Dalhauser move on to the finals to face one of the two Brazilian teams. They handled Georgia (which featured two Brazilian players who compete for Georgia) easily with scores of 21-11, 21-13.
In the other semifinal the Marcio/Fabio grinded it out to take the first set (22-20) from the defending gold-medalists

Marcio/Fabio have advanced to the gold in an upset of the gold medalists from Athens.
It will be Dalhouser/Rogers vs. Marcio/Fabio for the gold.

If I were the other team, every serve would go to Dalhausser, alternating short and long. Make him move. Make him work.
Rodgers is too good in the sideout game. If anyone is gonna make attacking errors, it will be Dalhausser.

Here's a preview of the match. Head to head gives an advantage to the Brazilians 5-2. But, the Americans won their last meeting on July 5, 2008 at the Moscow Grand Slam (21-18, 21-15). 206.196.31.34/MatchPreview.aspx?matchid=51329GO USA!

Rogers had a boatload of attacking errors in this match (I think 8), but some of them were in the second set well after it was out of reach.

Yes, but Todd & Phil also had some amazing plays. The Georgians/Brazilians were never a threat. Rogers had a boatload of attacking errors in this match (I think 8), but some of them were in the second set well after it was out of reach.

I just hope that the errors were just a function of the match being one-sided and Todd losing a little focus. Next match won't be so one-sided.
