www.nbcolympics.com/volleyball/resultsandschedules/rsc=VOM400301/index.html live scoring and a link to play by play USA men down mid Game 1, but beginning to catch up. Really slow start...down 1-6 fault after fault after fault to 11-16...then crawling their way back. Forgot to drink their coffee and it is later evening there. Do these really late starts impact their play? especially as they get into the end of week 2? Yes the fact that it is the Olympics one would hope they could keep the momentum energy going...but plenty of posts that such a long tourney and playing every other day wears them down. I wonder if they have themselves on a really late morning wake up and LATE aft rest schedule so their bodies don't feel like it is a 10pm start. they got it to 18-20, but now 19-23!!!

What is Priddy saying to himself when he goes back to serve. You can see him muttering every time.

I don't feel good about this match. Serbia's defense is very good.

I have a hard time interpreting the stats on the NBC website (what are FLTS?). Is it right that Millar is only hitting 18%? Is Serbia shutting down the middle?
22-21 Serbia according to NBC.

Both USA teams surely know how to torture their fans . Lee was brillant in this match. I think he connected on all this attempts except one, I just do not know why Ball did not set him more even when he is obviously open. I was pretty annoyed by Ball's play in this match. Millar's offensive game is completely missing but he was blocking very very well tonight. Priddy and Stanley were both on fire with their serves tonight. I thought the game was over at 4-7 in the final set. It was an amazing effort that they can come back

I only watched part of game 1 and that made me very late to work, but I was so worried they were not going to win. I'm so glad they did!
What was the comment about the Serbian study on Priddy's hitting about?

This team feels like it's destined to win gold. They just find a way to get it done. They are so confident and playing so well together right now, anything is possible.
