US loses to Japan 3-1 in softball final. This maybe the upset of the games.

That may be the best result for the future of softball. Now there may be more international impetus to add it back into the Olympics.

And we have another shocker... USA women beat Brazil 1-0... Carli Lloyd scores in the 96th minute. It's a huge shocker because first, we lose Abby Wambach right before the tournament, we lose to Norway to open up the tournament... and Brazil is the odds on favorite to win the tournament. Wow is all I have to say.

Wow is all I have to say. Makes the World Cup coach look like even more of an idiot for deciding to play Scurry over Solo. Nothing against Scurry, but that was a bonehead move as has been proven in these games.

They had to play Japan 3 times in these Olympics, beating them badly the first time, and barely the second time....we all know how tough it is to beat someone 3 times in a SEASON let alone in one tournament. It should be like the College World Series and Japan would have had to beat the US twice, or back to back.....anyway a mute issue since Softball is out of the Olympics anyway!
