OK ...Name your state and predict the the election..
Lets see if WE CAN BEAT THE POLLS..
Minnesota
HAS NEVER VOTED REPUBLICAN in many years, and won't this year.
If McCain wins here it wont matter, he will have already won.
I REALLY believe Coleman will win...49- 41 % SHE/Bachman holds on to win 50-48%
McCain wins Nationally by 3 pts..but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.
I really think the anti black vote will surface and be way more than Democrats think . I wish it wasn't so...
Our Constitutional thing FAILS...

Obama wins easily 52-46 with 2% third parties
At least 330 electoral votes.
I'm going to enjoy watching Fox News coverage, I can't wait to see Britt Hume, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity etc in full meltdown mode.

Obama will win with more than 300 EV and 52-53% of the vote.
Democrats will pick up the following Senate seats (and lose none): NC, CO, NM, AK, MN, VA, OR, NH. GA will go to a run off and the Dems will win it.
Democrats will pick up 40+ house seats.

Obama with somewhere between 311 - 341 electoral votes.
And for election night coverage make sure you drop by "Indecision 08" with Stewart and Cobert for some laughs."

Minnesota . . . I REALLY believe Coleman will win...49- 41 % I have a serious question regarding this prediction - don't you think the 3rd party candidate will get more than a minimal % of the vote?

Well, he was giving them 10% (100-[49+41] = 10) but I think it is seriously delusional to think that Coleman will beat Franken by 8% while Obama takes the state. I could believe it the other way around, largely because of the third party candidate.

My best guess is Obama 353, McCain 185
Battleground states:
Obama: FL, NC, VA, PA, OH, CO, NV, NM
McCain: GA, IN, MO, AZ
I could see Obama getting GA and IN if the polls are under counting black and new voters. I could see McCain getting FL and NC if there is a "Bradley Effect" and the polls are NOT under counting black and new voters. Frankly, I see #1 (Obama getting GA/IN) as more likely than #2.

"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." -- John Quincy Adams
My prediction is that the vast majority of people will ignore that sagacious advice, and will instead vote for the candidate or party-tribe "most likely to win", as if their own values and the future of our Nation were no more dignified than a season of TV shows like Survivor and big Brother.
