The Wassila Hillbilly goes to a local turkey farm to pardon a turkey while a worker in the background slaughters those who didn't make it. We need to keep this chick around so comedians won't be out of work.

Woop Deee Friggin' Doooo. You guys act like Palin's the first one to ever do this, and that makes her stupid. In reality, this tradition started long before she entered the national spotlight. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey_pardon

Strange, I don't remember the tradition of having a turkey butchered in plain sight behind you while giving an interview. I particularly liked how she described it as "having fun" during some of the most gruesome parts of the dismemberment.

So you think the turkey that shows up on your dinner table is mercifully put to sleep while being massaged with Michael Bolton songs playing the background? Gimme a break. The turkeys the guy is putting into the metal cones are already dead, they are just draining out the blood for processing.

Also, wouldn't the turkeys be committing suicide themselves if they had to listen to Michael Bolton songs playing in the background?

Yeah, well slaughtering all them soy beans just so you can have your tofu burger is every bit as gruesome.

Yeah, well slaughtering all them soy beans just so you can have your tofu burger is every bit as gruesome. I never understood the concept of "faux meat". One of the many reasons I became a vegetarian was that I did not like the taste of almost all meat. Why would I want to eat an imitation of something that I did not like in the first place?

This just in: The pardoned turkey has gone on a murderous spree of some sort at a turkey farm south of Anchorage. Looks like Palin will have giblets on her hands after all is said and done.

Was the pardoned turkey a Republican ? You are probably a vegetarian? That would make sense.

Was the pardoned turkey a Republican ? While it is true that all Republicans are turkeys, it is not true that all turkeys are republicans.
