Today at high noon HST 1/15 /2009 the switch will be thrown in Hawaii.
Hawaii is being used as a experiment ahead of the rest of the country to see how the transition from analog to digital TV shakes out.
After conducting a state wide high profile education program on the switch over it's going to interesting to see how many were paying attention. ;D

All about nothing. I don't see any improvement in picture quality as advertised.Lost NBC picture, only have sound.

Well I may have been premature in my assessment of improve picture quality because an hour later there is defiantly a noticeable difference . Picture is very sharp and clearer than analog .Sound also is better and all channels now functioning properly.
