Why would she go to overrated ISU? I think she would be better served at Stanford or UVA.

Here are my questions. 1. Does Andy have to let her out of her scholorship before the deadline so she doesnt have to sit out a year(Rose did the same to Yanz)? 2. How long do you think that Cook knew about his daughter transfering? I ask this because he said after the season that NU needed to switch to a different system and now she is coming in as the NFOY as a setter and a scholorship is open for her with the departure of Yanz.

I thought Yanz's scholarship was being used on Broekhuis in the spring? I feel bad for Kristin Kelsey. I wonder if this also means that Megan Moenoa will head to UCLA now. DAMN.

No the graduation of Cooper is where the scholorship for Broekhuis is coming from.

Has this actually been confirmed or is this all still speculation?

As far as I can recall, it probably doesn't matter as long as long as she doesn't sign a scholarship renewal with UCLA. She would simply need to complete her academic year at UCLA (a full year is required), get permission to talk to a new athletic dept, and have the UCLA athletic director sign off on the exception to sitting out a year. What happened with Yanz from Penn State to Nebraska was that she got the permission to talk but that the Penn State AD wouldn't sign off on her not sitting out a year. She was also a soph, such that she already had a year in residence. Someone like that could theoretically transfer in the middle of the year and get the one-time exception, for which one requirement is at least a full "year in residence" at the original school.

Rose would sign off for Yanz if she did not go to a top 10 school. I guess that is his criteria for signing off on transfers. Either way, it did not work out for her

Has this actually been confirmed or is this all still speculation? According to Cindy Luis, it's true, although she doesn't say how she knows.

We'll if this is true i wonder how much Gina being on the time had an influence? I know they played together on club teams together through out high school. I'm sure we'll be getting all of answers soon.

How long before they can make it "official"? (The announcement only)

It's hard to believe anyone would want to play for their father. Man, I always thought the whole Debbie Green-Nicole Vargas thing was weird, but now this with the Cooks. Come on, kids, learn to spread your wings.

There are plenty of reasons why Lauren would want to go to UCLA, and just as many for why she would want to stay at home.
I just wonder if Nucci has put the brakes on her decision to transfer now.

So if Cook is transferring to Nebraska what does Kristen Kelsay do now? There's no more scholarships for Lauren at Nebraska.

Is there perhaps a children-of-faculty-go-for-free-or-at-a-cut-rate policy at Nebraska?
