Michaela Keefe is 100% Stanford. Her Social Media confirms this. Attachments:

She's injured, though nobody has really said how. The rumor is some type of turf toe injury. Several weeks of rest (along with elevation, icing, and ibuprofen) is the usual recommended course of treatment for turf toe in most cases. Sometimes a walker boot is applied to restrict forefoot motion. Turf toe has a fairly high probability or reoccurring and can become a chronic condition. She had turf toe last Spring and recovered in about a month. I hope it's no worse this time.

Are you referring to Attar? I expect she will be offered a scholarship. I don't know if there are any other scholarships available. I think Bowen should be given an athletic scholarship even if she came here as a walk-on. If you are referring to someone other than Attar, can you give Stanford fans a hint about who it is? Someone different; this player would definitely be a scholarship player. No hint at the moment, however I will update when I am able. Apologies. Anybody have any ideas who this 2017 recruit is? I think, although it's a long shot to steal her from BYU and a while to go, Jennifer Hamson's sister (Sara hamson) may be a great addition. While some say she's 6'6 or 6'8 she could be a dominant outside for Stanford if they mold her into what Jennifer was like (great passing and blocking, great leader, go to hitter). Or maybe a 6-2 with her. Hey it doesn't hurt to dream haha hopefully Stanford can recruit someone who can hammer it no matter what's in front of them and can complement Hodson nicely.

Re-aggravation of the problem she had this spring? I haven't been able to confirm, but this is very common with turf toe. There are things that can be done with taping and orthopedic shoe inserts that may prevent further onset, but this is case by case and takes experimentation. And naturally, staying on top of the issue with proper care after a match is very important. That is, assume it is a chronic issue, and take all necessary preventative measures.

Hodson will seem like a midget in the forest of tall trees that Stanford is/has recruiting/recruited.

Im not much of a stanford follower but isnt Jenny Mosser a potential Stanford recruit? She is still uncomitted, made the gyntt, and really blossomed into an elite level OH this past season.

I haven't seen a video yet. But it's possible. Not sure if Stanford needs another player like Sidney Brown or Jordan Burgess. Mosser is listed at 6-0 I think Stanford needs a bigger, physical and high jumping outside who can hammer.

livestream.com/accounts/4789101/events/4179831Here's a link that has some of the live stream footage that has already been taken...Some of the videos aren't the best quality but it's fine. I'm really impressed at how Hayley can dominate at the international level. Also impressed with the versatility of Audriana and her arm swing. Can't wait to see her grow even more during her senior season.

What's the tie in ... same HS as former Stanford MB Anne Wicks?

Theres some footage of her in the youtube video that was in the ashley shook vs sydney hilley thread, shes number 8 for mn select. The only reason why i bring her name up is because someone was talking about her in another thread (maybe the aau nationals one, i cant completely remember), and they believed that she could be being recruited by stanford. Also as far as i know, she gets pretty good grades. And although she isnt very tall, she has insane hops (has over a 30 inch vertical, and can touch well over 10 feet)

Yeah you need that kind of hitter for the days when Hodson, Fitz, Lutz, and Plummer all can't put a ball down. Who else will, right?

I'm not saying Mosser wouldn't be a good option maybe if she was 2 inches taller that would be a really great candidate. But even at 6-0 her vertical is great. And I'm not saying that Stanford needs a really huge player I'm just saying they could use someone who can be relied on to contribute in 2017 and beyond
