According to Texas thread you'll play them home and home again. That's a monster schedule

That's a monster schedule No days off... but I think that it’s good for this Stanford team (and the teams playing Stanford) to be sharpened by tough competition. And it’s good for the fans to be able to watch some great matches. Now in 2020, some of these matches not be as pretty for Stanford fans at least 😂

Stack it up for the Big 4’s final year and Kipp and co’s Freshman year. Maybe ease up a bit in 2020 like you said, but I’d say they should stack it again 2021 when the Kipp’s class are juniors and we potentially get Miner. Would be nice if they added a match @ Kentucky this year too to get close to Morgan’s hometown.l

The best candidate for that would probably be Cincinnati rather than KY (in terms of proximity). Fitz/Gray got to play in Kansas City and will play in NE which is relatively near their hometown. Plummer & Keefe’s get to go to SoCal. On another note, Francis in 2021 is looking really darn good. Could end up on the pins but she’s also pretty dominant in the middle and with good mobility. Her + Miner are game changers

Just watched Laguna Beach at GJNC 18s... if it weren't for the addition of Gates (which still isn't confirmed), I would say have Fitz play middle and Kipp right side and have Fitz hit on the pins for some of the rotations. Kipp's future is probably better on the right as of now, although if she works on her passing she does look very good on the left. It will be interesting to see in what capacity Kipp gets utilized, as she looks good on both pins and at 6'5 she has potential to be a shut down blocker. I personally would like Kipp to see time as front row OH with McClure DS'ing, but I wouldn't say that's the most likely scenario w/ the Gates situation. she was set pretty much every other ball in that championship match. holy moly I thought her arm was going to fall off. She's very good, no doubt about that. If this team could have found another scorer they could have been an open level team, especially this year.

I’m curious as to what kept her on Laguna, rather than staying at Momentous or perhaps playing for Tstreet (although they weren’t that good this year). She starts on either of those teams, and probably gets set just as much.... and those clubs aren’t too far from Laguna Beach. Maybe she wanted to play up on 18s and Momentous/Tstreet didn’t allow her to play up, but Laguna did?

I was referring to when she made the switch. She has been on Laguna's 18s team since 2017 so I assume that is the reason she made the switch from Momentous, but I can't say for certain why she chose Laguna. Laguna hasn't been as competitive in open for a couple of years, and up until this year Tstreet has been in 18 open consistently. I bring up Momentous because she's played there before and they made open this year, but it would be kinda awkward to have gone back there.

So much talent just for this group alone. Can fill a team by itself: 2 OHs, 2 middles, 1 setter, 1 Opp. All play 6 rotations. This team can win some Div 1 matches against some schools.
Best of luck. Can't wait to see what the line up in Fall will be.

As a Stanford Fan... I'm pumping my fist... If any other team was my favorite, I'd be rolling my eyes like I did so many years when Penn State just seamed to put talent upon talent on their team (and bench) Really tough competition in practice everyday great job Denise!
