I was just breezing through Carthage schedule when I noticed something odd on the top of their webpage. There's a caption that says that they are the "MIVA Coleman League Champions in 2005 and 2006". I thought this was funny because there was no Coleman league in 2005. carthage.edu/athletics/index.cfm?page=365

It became the Coleman division the following year.

inflation of the profile of a team is not new but until someone else steps up they will rule that Division. Especially since Clarke went NAIA and MSOE just does not have it , yet.

What's up with Clarke going back to NAIA? Will the Coleman be a 3 team division in 2008? My guess is Newman might be a new MIVA member based on absolutely no proof or rumors. I only think this because they left the NAIA and became a NCAA Div. 2 Independent in Men's Vball.

Newman did move and there is supposedly a move in St. Louis that will add 2 teams so maybe they will all join MSOE, Central State and Carthage.
