so the stats show that Brett Hughes, a freshman setter set the entire match. looks like he did pretty good setting pepp to a .451 clip. Is Winder hurt?

Word through the grapevine is that he fractured something in his knee in practice, but I have no way of verifying so take it for what it's worth-- A RUMOR.

good for Brett Hughes but maybe bad for the MPSF if they have a good backup. Hughes was a good setter as a prep.

It's not a rumor... Winder did fracture a bone in his knee (I believe while playing in Florida tournament a few weeks ago). He's expected back 4-6 weeks from the date of the injury... hopefully Hughes can get Pepperdine through a tough January schedule!
