So what's the inside scoop on his injury? Anyone?

He played in all three games tonight. He was not at 100%, but played with getting a lot of swings.

Took a thumb in the eye and lost his contact lens. 5-6 plays later, the trainer spotted the contact in the middle of the floor and play was stopped to retrieve it.
When "Healthy" he will make CSUN a threat to most any team this year.

I've heard about Dan Rhodes, but hadn't seen him play until last night. He looked good for being 1/2 blind and able to swing 75%.
Swingaway... You seem to know about CSUN. Why isn't that 7'2" giant starting every match?
Also, that Vance kid certainly can hit the ball. I have only seen CSUN with that freshmen Gaudino. Is Vance back from injury or is he battling with Gaudino?

Is Vance back from injury or is he battling with Gaudino? What I know about CSUN is strictly personal opinion. I thought Jack was way slow for this level. That said, you can't teach height and he has plenty of that. Campbell is a tremendous middle coach and the program has great weight training program. If he's dedicated we will see plenty of him. If were lucky, George P will get his act together in school and become a force in the middle. Coach can't count on him though so overall the team may be better off without him. Vance's passing can be questionable at times and then his confidence drags him further down. If he can play with the intensity of last night more often, he will be a top performer. Last year he had 24 kills vs UCLA at Pauly and another of his better games was vs UCI. I hope to see a 30 kill game match this year for him. Mike G is a great player. I think he is a more consistent passer and hits a very hard ball. If he was not such a strong outside, I think he would be the best Liberia on the court. He will battle Eric and Issac all this year and I expect he will see plenty of floor time as a starter and a sub. The coach did not hesitate to pull Issac for Mike and did the same with Eric at Pacific. This is a great team and they all get along so well I can see plenty of success when they are all on at the same time.

Swingaway... You seem to know about CSUN. Why isn't that 7'2" giant starting every match? More importantly, why isn't he playing basketball?
