For a whole webpage devoted to all the DIII results, go to d3vb.org. It's a great sight that is updated everyday with the latest scores and matches.

I cannot believe UMass-Boston is ranked! Years ago I attended Salem State College (now University) and they demolished UMass Boston.
What an improvement for them!

Eastern at Emory this weekend, another top 10 showdown. Really nice to see that the top Div III teams have the budget to travel like this!

Let's see if this has any staying power. Season is off an running now with a variety of tournaments everywhere. Around New England: MIT won the Regis tourney -http://www.goregispride.com/sports/wvball/index Nice to see MIT off to such a great start. Paul Dill is a terrific coach, and he's an even better person.

If you're accepting plugs, my Midwest and Central region blog is still around. It's not horrible. I say it's MW/C in focus (and it is), but it's fairly national during the regular season with predictions for each conference winner, key national matchups, upsets, polls, etc. And I've done a national series of "Who loses whom?" data blast, season preview posts in the past. It's really national during the postseason with regional and final guides plus original match recaps. It's not just a depository of SID recaps or scores. There's a bit of prognostication, opinion, stat-geekery, commentary and miscellany sprinkled in with the box scores. Give it a try sometime. uwoshvball.wordpress.com/

I cannot believe UMass-Boston is ranked! Years ago I attended Salem State College (now University) and they demolished UMass Boston. What an improvement for them! UMass Boston was in the Elite 8 last year. They have built a program with players from California and really throughout the country. They are 0-2 at this point, but those 2 losses came to D2 power Hawaii Hilo.

It should be an interesting start to the New England season, with so many coaching changes.

Eastern at Emory this weekend, another top 10 showdown. Really nice to see that the top Div III teams have the budget to travel like this! To add to this point, it's not even restricted to the "top Div III" teams only... This weekend, Schreiner (TX) & St. Mary's (MN) are in Beverly at Endicott, and the following weekend Endicott is out in Colorado with Concordia & Wash U (MO). Lot's of travelling it seems.

Springfield went down to Emory last year - they do a trip every four years, I believe.

#2 Wash U- St. Louis' next 7 matches feature 6 ranked opponents- #8 Carthage, #20 Wisconsin-Whitewater, #6 Christopher Newport, #9 Juniata, #13 Colorado College and #15 Concordia College-Moorehead.
To say that is a tough road to travel in 8 days is an understatement.
