I haven't seen anyone talk about southern California JC volleyball here. I know it probably doesn't have much of a following, is there abother board that talks about it. I'm curious about which teams are the top teams.

From what we hear up here in the Bay ARea, there is some very good volleyball played at the Community College schools. I think there are a number who migrate onto MPSF teams.
Travis Turner is now the coach of Orange Coast....I do not know how they have done specifically prior to now, but he will get the most out of them.

Actually the LBCC website has the final resulte reversed. Irvine Valley beat a good Utah Valley State team. It was my first time watching JC volleyball and I'm new to this level. Seems to be just a notch down from the very best open 18 teams, but very good, competitive volleyball.

Really? So IVC won it then...good for them. And good for Utah Valley State making it to the final. I would have to agree that Cal JC ball is just a notch down from top open division 18s, simply because the top "19s-20s" talents are missing (usually on somebody's NCAA D1 squad). Still though, it is great to watch.
