www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20302134_20387623,00.html Top twenty listed in this story. Good list. I think Six Feet Under should be in the top 5. I approve of number 1!

Am I the only one that never saw one episode of Friends? I've seen a few episodes but was never interested in it...I never understood the hype.

Am I the only one that never saw one episode of Friends? I've never seen a whole episode, and barely even any footage from it at all.

Apparently I don't watch much TV. I've seen three of those out of the list of 20.
I watched the MASH finale in real time. Same with the Buffy finale. And back when the movie The Fugitive came out, I remember seeing the first and last episodes of the original series in a back-to-back promo event.
Aside from that, I saw some of the Seinfeld finale. Maybe all of it, I can't recall. I wasn't a fan of the series, but I think I was in the room when other people were watching it. Some lame joke about them being on trial.

The Seinfeld finale was just terrible. As was Battlestar Galactica. I know people are polarized by both the Lost and Sopranos series ends, I quite enjoyed both. Never saw the MASH finale, I was living in Europe at the time, not a popular show there.

I like The Mary Tyler Moore Show, M.A.S.H, The Golden Girls and Roseanne.

Never saw the MASH finale, I was living in Europe at the time, not a popular show there. Both MASH and Seinfeld were heavily criticized at the time of their showings. Overtime, their reputations have grown. I liked them both, although the part about Hawkeye being institutionalized for part of the final MASH show was too much for me. I hated, but loved the Sopranos ending if that makes sense. My favorites if I had to vote would probably would be Newhart for comedy and Six Feet Under for drama.

If I remember correctly, the Finale for St. Elsewhere was roundly criticized too for the dream sequence closing.
But the first one to use it was Dallas, when they tried to explain away the second Bobby Ewing when the original came back for the new season. That was a jump the shark moment.

I forget how Cheers ended.
