ohio state is a very good team, it will be tought to slow them down, i was at the game and osu will win the MIVA and host the tournament. as for ipfw, keep fighting, for the last couple of times a team has hosted the miva tournament, they lost. GO DONS

Ohio State is a very good team, i will agree with you. But they still have to play the second half of the season. They have to go to Lewis who isnt that bad, and if you dont show up to play, can steal a match away. The Bucks also have to play Ball State twice and Loyola twice. Lets see how everything plays out. P.S. Dan Meske is a baller!

Last night was my first foray into men's VB this year. I prefer the pace (and atmosphere) of the OSU women's game, but there were about 800 LOUD people there last night. I had no expectations and was really surprised at how good the Buckeyes are. There seems to be a nice team chemistry, and some of those guys absolutely destroy the ball (Menske is a friggin' stud!). As a quick observation, they need to dig a little better (blocking was terrific), and those service errors will destroy them. Yuck! Ptooie! IPFW's service stats were parallel-- is this typical of the men? Need we pull Stacey the Gee from Turkey to show them how to get it over the net? ;D Whether or not they make it to May 3, I'm psyched to see some great championship VB in my back yard!

i agree with you also vballnutt. lewis isnt that good though, they are very young and i watched lewis play ohio state and it seamed that one they got to 20, they just couldnt keep pace with the buckeyes. i dont see an upset there. is ball state really that good is my question and another is a huge showdown i believe april 4 against penn state. that will be a true test, plus what about loyola. many tests to go as you stated, right now, osu is on cloud 9. they are playing real well.

vitor is not the second best middle on the team. they gave it to vitor b/c he actually got kills against mercyhurst, ainsworth played middle and played much better. as for brock, im not sure, i know it wasnt an injury, just switchin up the lineup i guess

Coach Ball used a new line up with CJ in the passing rotation opposite Collins and Yhost and Quillen as his opposite, New Wrinkle perhaps. Ullrich served a couple of times.
