Honestly, "volleyball dads" are the worst. I have experienced some "Volleyball Moms" who are over the top, but never have witnessed the "Daddy" syndrome. Volleyball Dads are worse!!!! Here is just one example: I had a dad during the 18-1 open championship bracket scream across the court at the S/DS to get out of his daughter's way so she could set. Let me add that there was no way the precious daughter was going to get to the ball and I had already told them that if the pass was way off (we had issues passing) that I wanted xyz to set the ball instead of the Setter because she was only good at setting the pass if the pass was at least a 2 otherwise forget it. Then this dad had the nerve to come at me complaining why I did not pull out the S/DS and made her daughter look bad in front of college coaches. BTW, this precious girl was never offered a scholarship and the S/DS went on to play for a strong D1 program and graduated as their starting setter.....

Ever watch the show "Dance Moms" or "Toddlers and Tiaras"? Some crazy moms, for sure, but the dads on that show are whacko, too. IMO, it borders on child abuse. I don't watch either or them any more-made me feel guilty for "supporting" such shows.
