Hawaii wins in 4. They've looked so much better with Hakala on the right, I don't know why Wilton needed over half the season to figure that out!
Stanford looks a lot better than last season where this season they are at least competitive in a lot of the matches, last year they seemed to be getting blown out left and right. They are still a long way away from competing for a MPSF title and final four berth as in the Ruben Nieves days though.
Kawika Shoji looked really good, I know Mike Wilton said they recruited him very hard and he said he would probably be starting had he come to Hawaii. Too bad though, considering that Mike Wilton's daughter played for Dave Shoji, he thought he had a chance of him returning the favor, oh well...

im pretty sure Mike Wilton did not recruit Kawika. maybe because tehy knew he was not going to go there. and yes he played a good game but Hawaii was just better. Stanford could not defend against the middles very well. but about Kawika he led in kills with 23 and hit .400, which is good. better than Hakala tonight.

i thought kawika shoji did an amazing job in this match. stanford was competitive all year. and next year theyll definitely be in the hunt for a playoff spot with mclachlin and inafuku joining them.
