Just don't understand why Bakersfield would of brought in some inexperienced assistant coaches who have never ran a program when you are trying to build a strong program, Assistant coaches tend to not have run a program before when they move to being a HC for the first time...otherwise, they wouldn't be called Assistants. The combined experience level in DI years between the 2 doesn't seem to be that great, but I haven't heard of many people that were beating down the door to take over that program Any evidence to the fact in DI? I know of the pairs listed here, and other successful ones in the past, but can't come up with any that failed due to their relationship.

so let's look at this.
First, if you remember, the coaches were hired, but the old coach was still employed. That was an awkward mess
I doubt any of the recruits they had last year were really "theirs", so you can see why they would want new blood in there.
Then comes the season. Man, were they bad last year. A Pablo rating of 243 isn't good. They lost a set to Liberty, not a big powerhouse, 25-8.
In all honesty, there weren't many real DI players on that roster to begin with.
They had 14 on the roster, with one senior. So they are letting 10 go, and keeping 3. Sounds about right.
Now, I'm not a big fan of the overhaul, but if that's what the coach wants to do, then good luck.

That is wrong in so many levels.... I know of many recruits and their families that find a husband and wife team as a major positive! Not saying anything about CSUB but that was just a blanket statement that does not come close to the truth... Stony Brook, Missouri, Michigan, all seem to make it work. Great for them , but Bakersfield coaches were always arguing/bickering.

First Taylor now Haratyk What is really going on? Feel bad for Haratyk who is a amazing player, they (coaches) are trying to make it very difficult for her as well as a few others.

Several of the players from last season's roster were recruited by the new coaches! NOT ME are you serious not that many great D1 players? REALLY? Well yea it wasn't Stanford or UCLA but their were several very good D1 players on that team, but when you have two new coaches who don't know what the hell their doing that's a big problem! And these players left the program not the other way around, many had full schlorships too!!!

There was no reason to let John Price go, great man.

There was no reason to let John Price go, great man. I agree Mocha, proving to be a big mistake, good catch for Northridge though.

BTW, I never said anything about "great" D! players. And being on a full scholarship doesn't mean a thing. I'm sure they left because they saw the 10 recruits coming in next year. I'm sure they can do the math.

You think 10 players just leave a program cause they see 10 new players coming in not the case here maybe at UCLA or Stanford, I see your not the brightest one on the block hahaha, get real! And I'm not sticking up for 1 player, I'm letting the volleyball community know that 10 players left CSUB for pretty much the same reasons, and a full scholarship means alot to players not sure what planet you are from, but you sound ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So since 10 players "left", what D1 school are they transferring to in order to continue their career?
Were they told they were not going to be renewed and chose to quit? Did they quit and ask for releases or are they just quitting the game?

and all those exclamation points add to your credibility. Or the horrid misuse of "their".... And come on-this isn't twitter... You can waste the B&E and just spell because... "Cause" makes you sound like you were kicked out of freshman comp... We get it-you hate the coaches... Hopefully you dont out yourself and see to it that no one touches your relative over your wrath!!
